well my friend i fully agree with your views but then again you cannot just pass judgements
based on assumptions!
i mean how could you assume that i havent done anything. i have my own small ways of contributing towards the nation- be it
contributing towards relief fund, paying taxes on time, emphasising on not wasting food, not littering ........

i think patriotism is a very diverse term u cannot limit its defination to giving one's life for the country. Lets put it this way that giving one's own life for the country is definately the highest form of patriotism.

Hey i agree the pics have been taken from net but i havent simply done a cut or paste buisness. I always do my homework first. These
pics are screenshots of the
small flash presentation i had made where i had documented the stories of braveries of all
the 21 PVC winners.

There's a very famous quote at kohima war memorial . i wonder if u've heard it it goes like
"When you go home. Tell them of us and say for your tomorrow we gave our today"
It's just that i have very high regards for these brave soldiers and by posting such stuff i'm trying to increase the awareness
among ppl

One for thing my friend- These days many youngsters opt for the army. Army's a big organisation ,the common perception about army is that of a fighting arm which is not so.
There are so many other arms like jag,asc,mns,amc,aps,signals,ad,cmp.......
the list is quite long. The point i'm trying to emphasise is that even by just joining army does'nt make one patriotic. many ppl passing out of academy opt for areas other than the infantry. Why so? thats beacuse they know
there's no family life, u dont know whether u'll be alive the next moment, constant field
postings etc. so does that make them any patriotic.
so according to you is it that
all those who are not in army are not patriotic?

I do work for a soft firm
as for the army is concerned i'm waiting for my interview date for ssb.......

Hey Arun,
All the best for SSB interview...
@insight
One more thing, if you are not in army, that doesn't mean you're not a patriot. Army Central welfare Fund (ACWF) is a the place where I conribute to Indian Army... I think that's the bit, I can do...
