Well today i just witnessed an accident i was part of. It was just like any another typical day with many people rushing to their respective workplaces. I had boarded the 8:40 bus for office. Once i was on i was lost in my dreamy world. The bus was taking a turn when i heard a lady's shriek. i can imagine the sinking feeling she must have got on seeing the speeding truck on the collision course and before i could react there was a loud bang followed by cracking of windshields. Upon impact the entire bus had shifted about its axis(length). For a few seconds i was visibly shaken and when everythingnormalised i saw two ladies on the road. Probably they had fallen from their seats right through the entry door. one of the ladie wa so shocked she was yelling and crying. By the time i got down a crowd had gathered. Curious onlookers surrounded the ladies. One of the passangers got hold of the driver who would have probably tried to flee from the scene. The vehicle that had crashed was a canter. There were four people seated in front.The impact had smashed the front area, trapping one of the co-driver. For a few seconds he was crying-cld'nt take the pain. i rushed and tried to push forward the bonnet where his leg was stuck but the danm thing did'nt budge. Finally some ppl gave a helping hand and we were able to retrieve the guy. By now police had come and the driver was arrested. Luckily people escaped with minor injuries. Not to mention i also got my share- few bruises, back and shoulder ache.
